What is a sustainable business?
In 2008, CASBA authored the "Sustainable Business Principles" which include:
- Leaders Committed to Sustainability
- Education about Sustainability
- Energy Savings
- Water Savings
- Avoidance of Waste and Pollution
- Community Involvement
- Fair and Safe Working Conditions
These seven sustainable business principles can lead any entity on the path toward sustainability.
