Latina Initiative in partnership with COLOR presents the 2010 Annual Colorado Latino/a Policy Issue Briefing & Advocacy Day.  The purpose of Latina/o Advocacy Day is to provide advocacy/lobby training and briefings on current policy issues such as education, immigration, healthcare, civil rights/economic justice to Latinas and Latinos in Colorado. The Latino/a Issue Briefing & Advocacy Day values justice, freedom, access, opportunity, and concern for others. The goal of this nonpartisan event is to create a Latina/o voice at the Colorado state capitol to hold elected officials accountable for and responsive to the needs of the Latino/a community of Colorado.  Save this Date!
